sounds like a jetting issue to me. under a load your bike will be sucking more fuel so its probably rich. hopefully im not wrong so these guys dont eat me alive :D

the boots are in pretty rough shape, or at least one of them is. Id be willing to bet the valving and springs havent been touched from stock. send me your personal email in a pm and ill get you a picture

Does anybody make blue plastic for the Honda bikes ? It seems like i can remember seeing a picture of a gen 3 with blue plastic, but i cant find it anymore. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys

Sorry guys i forgot i even had this add. I had a brain fart and the parts are for a 88 and not a 89 but i do have a rear shock in ok condition and the linkage is on the swingarm

hey guys im trying to geta an idea of how much this would be worth its a 1985 cr500 motor has electrical and is complete minus carb and exhaust, its got low hours on it. i can probably email some pics to anyone interested. with the right price it could be yours!!

The holes in the exhaust side of the piston , i would reccomend they help lubricate between the piston and the exhaust bridge. The exhaust bridge is thin and expands alot faster than the the rest of the cylinder especially if your cylnder is ported. as far as putting a whole in the back of the pisto...

im gunna play around with gearing a lil more next time i go out, but the bike ran flawless thats all im worried about, i think i can get a few more mph with a lil gearing, but next time i go ill be shooting the spray too thanks for the help

I had to take my bike down to him an leave it while he built the pipe, he doesnt have a jig for that pipe but i live in morgan so im only ten minutes from his shop

played with the floats with a little an it worked bike ran sweet at the dunes clocked at 60 mph in fourth gear over the face of sand mtn no nitrous it was sweet
