Yesterday we received a 91mm CR500 Wiseco piston.
I took the cylinder and piston to the machinist and told him the specs I wanted it bored to. I should have it early next week.
We will be getting the Kart this time so we can tune it and break it in over a few days.
I can't wait....

Well... The top end is torched... Disassembled and found a plugged pilot jet

I know I know, that's racing... But I don't have to like it.
So, rebuilding the top end. The next race is in two weeks...

The question we want to know is will it go or will it blow

The customer picked up the engine tonight and races tomorrow.

Started lapping. You can see where the dark area's are on the mating surface.. And you can see the light spots... Dark is making contact, the light isn't doing anything... One has a very short build time so we are doing what we can but we really don't have the time to do what we real...
