What year motor for a conversion?
I'm going to start my build in a couple of months. I have a steel framed 97 now but it's in pretty good shape don't really want test it apart. I've been looking far a complete bike or motor. I know 85-88 you have to drill the cases. Any help would be appreciated

Hello everyone! Just picked up my first 500 it's a 97 all stock except a motion pro silencer. Been riding for since I was 6 I'm 28 now. Just about always something to ride.
