just make sure you relieve the exhaust ports before you assemble the top end.. Even though you're using a cast piston you could still drill the oiling holes on the exhaust side..
Once you get it up and running, don't go overboard with jetting.. keep it on the rich side.

I don' know why some still think cast pistons are better than forged.. bottom line is cast pistons are not as durable .. good luck with your build though, im sure the bike is going to be nice. Cause... ahh.... I've used my brain to decide they are. Old school cast pistons sucked, I would agree ther...

I know there was a formula th...

the only thing to do is inspect it.. seriously it's easy.. you have to make sure the pushrod is engaging on the arm properly.. take off the clutch cover and outter clutch hub.. you need to see the pushrod move while you are working the clutch lever.. i'm sure once you pull it apart the problem will ...

well I would pull the clutch cover off, relieve the tension on the clutch basket then start at the clutch lever and work your way to the clutch lifter that sits in the clutch basket assembly.. this should be an easy problem to diagnose..make sure the clutch lifter arm behind the stator cover is not ...
