Does anyone have a steely 2001 cr500 frame sitting around that they can get some accurate measurements of the head tube dimensions? overall bottom to top measurement of the head tube, and how deep the bearing race bores are? i have nothing but praise for Jercs CRF kit, the kit is great quality with good instructions and has everything you need to do it yourself.

my conversion is almost finished, waiting on my welder to do the last few brackets.

thanks for sharing that Bob, just what I needed to read after making a mess of my first tank, I did exactly what you said DONT do, it would have been great if I found your instructions earlier but i learnt the hard way.
