I'll be honest, I'm more of a hooligan on the minibikes than I am on the 500. I don't turf people's lawns, but my neighbor and I go ride through the local parks and on the street almost daily. Even now that it's 15* outside! We do stop around nighfall, though. My first frame is in for repair, so I e...

Bitchin'. Those little bikes are a riot. My buddy/neighbor has an '83 CR60 (looks like a 3/4 scale 480!), it's obnoxiously loud and will pull the front end up in 1st and 2nd. :D

My buddy Gene has a GasGas 320, I've ridden it twice now. I can't climb anything or wheelie it, but it's ridiculously fun to ride. The things you can do on it are incredible, it's so stable at low speed, completely different from riding an MX bike.

Winter mix pump gas has about 10% Ethanol in it. Most race fuels use MTBE as an octane booster which is not hygroscopic like alky. Thats my story and im sticking to it. Can I say "FUCK" since Bobby is passed out in the hotel room in Vegas right now?? :lmao: It depends on your location, bu...

I've owned cars from all of the big 3, and had the worst luck with GM's. My '96 9C1 Caprice, my '89 GTA Trans Am, and my '84 Caprice were all fat turds. The crown jewel of my '96 was the steering column breaking one day on my drive to work.

I've had much better luck with Chryslers.

Well, apparently my vagina had sand in it on Friday... I didn't go look at it. The price was decent, but I talked myself out of it by rationalizing how shitty of a rider I am, and spending a couple grand converting my steelie over to an AF wouldn't improve my ability any. I still really want to buil...

Alright, I'm on it...I should've realized the 02 was a gen 3 chassis, everybody's raving about them. It sounds like I can get the motor together and sell it for what I have in the bike.

Found a really cheap one ($750, blown up motor). Is this worth the effort, or should I look for a newer 250F?

Does a 500AF feel like whatever bike the frame started life as, or do you still notice the increased mass/rotational effects of the motor? I love my 500's power, but I love how light and easy to ride my old YZ250 felt. Do you get that same feeling back with an AF conversion?
