Rear tyre is a 'fat paddle' from Bykas.

It will now wheelie on the softest sand, up dune, down dunes... anywhere.

Fitting the Ohlins SD 2.1 to 2001 Steelie?

G'day Hoons,

I am keen to fit up one of the new type Ohlins SD 2.1 dampers to a 2001 steelie.

Ohlins offer only mounting kits for later CRFs - does anyone know if the upper steering head bearing and shaft dimensions of a 2001 CR500 is the same as any of these 2008-2009 models:

Did any other Aussies make it to Carnarvon for the Gascoyne Dash?

I have it registered as an off-road vehicle, so legal to use within the designated ORV area at the dunes.
