Good luck guy's,

Grew up in the Top End and always wanted to see the Finke race. Polar opposites to the Kamfari but I'm sure it is equally fun, loved walking around Shoal bay as a kid waitin' for Jason Hill to blast past through all that mud.

Stay upright fella's

Hi Redbull500, I got mine from the normal auction site most of us use. I just searched "silicone hose 90 deg elbow" and got the 19mm one with 150mm long legs as the fab'ed elbow in the head was made to suit the CRF250 left radiator top port (I think std 500 is 16mm), the rest of my hose is...

Hi Gregrobo, I did want to run the two outlet with the elbows but was having trouble getting the clearance under the tank and didn't want to weld fittings in to the head, this is why i wanted to keep the head std so that when i get the cash for the Acerbis tank i can go back to the std setup if I ha...

Thanks for the input Bob, I understand your thoughts. It is larger than the stock size fitting but still is only a single outlet and will likely fit a Vapor dash with the temp provision to keep an eye on things.

Thanks mr500,

The engine has been rebuilt top and bottom so i think the safe bet is to leave it as it was with the std rev plate. Its been a while since i was on a CR500 so I'm sure this will satisfy for a while.

A little advise with Boyesen Power Reeds and rev plate

Hi all, looking for a little advise, i have some new Boyesen Reeds that dont have the thin rev plate accross the mount holes, the paper work that comes with it called for use of the old plate if none is supplied. Is anyone using the std rev plate with Boyesen reeds or are you doing something differe...
