well guys bit of progress,rear shock spring powder coated, shock servised and back on bike,forks on, bars,brakes,rebuilt crank with wisesco rod,redored 1.25 over with prox piston all ready to go back together.ordered pro circuit works pipe to give it that works look .will try post pics soon cheers.

any one got decent forks,or just top sections and caps would do or just caps one would be better than what i hav got

i think they are the same but want to make sure that 89 forks and 90 forks are interchangable ,i just want to change fork tops (gold stantions)checked part nubers but last 3 digits are different

yep tried them they dont ship to uk,service honda say the parts are discotinued but i know i can get them here, but they are half the price over with you,sorry was wrong they said they are discontinued and service honda dont ship to uk

after parts for my 89. sent honda parts direct list of items, does any one know who else will ship to uk? service honda dont .im after a kick start and fork cap(screider valve and cap complete).no reply from service honda

yep thats the plan new rod and big end bearings and re balanced crank,and check all other bearings while apart ,replace main bearings ,its been bored out but not sure how mutch.someone has scribed 79x89 on case ?,shes looking pretty sweet engines on bench,frame powdercoated in honda red,swingarm on ...

i know i brought a haynes one wich is useless,and hav downloaded one of this site ,just that some cylinders u see dont seem to hav those scallops,thanks again for input

thanks guys hav been reading manuall,couldnt find anything about those indentations and noticed some bores didnt hav them thanks again.

just after little info i hav a manual on cd so taking it to the pub would be a bit awkward ,if you havnt got anything constructive to say like the other members ,piss off.
