That is what I did. I bought a 2000 and my brother bought the companion. It is enough for every day use and I only needed two for deer season and he only needed two for NASCAR so it worked out nicely.

Only had the quad a few days so no chance to get a manual yet. That is usually the 1st thing to buy. Thanks for the help I got a quad to beat the shi...

Polaris Four stroke

I realize that it is not a bike or a Honda. I picked up a 99 Polaris Trailboss 325. I got it running but it does not have any spark until you touch the accelerator. I only figured this out after I was checking for spark and found it only has spark if you give it gas. It runs good unless you let off ...

Glad it is still here I thought it was already gone.

The 89 and up pipe will hit the rear hose going to the back of the cylinder on pre 88 bikes. You may be able to change the cylinder and cooling hoses to make it work. Never looked into it to closely as I prefer the old pipe.

Imagine eating authentic mexican food for ten days after getting five stiches in your asshole to close it up. It might work but the results are not desired. Shit needs the right flow (adn pulses)to make the motor run properly.

My 87 was a pain in the ass to kick start until I foung her G spot. Mine had to be one click past TDC and then kick it like you want to break it. Enjoy your new bike when you figure it out.

Nice looking bike - you should not adjust your brakes before a ride. I scored on a 79 YZ400 for a case of Bud Light because the guy didn't do that and crashed.

If the rims are i good shape other then the paint, we take new stock wheels and powder coat the hubs and rims and then re lace them with stainless spokes. A little labor intensive cleaning the hubs after powdercoating but a lot less expensive. You do have to be careful when changing tires to avoid s...

I see, it is not code in my area or at least our inspectors dont care. Most of the things you do will only slow up a thief but if it slows them up enough to get some buckshot on target it worked enough in my book. Like the barn lots of room for bikes.

Why did you mount your entry door in backwards, If I was a thief I would pop off the door pins and pull the door off. Not trying to be an ass just blunt. Also if the door swings in you can re-enforce the door with metal on the inside so that they cant break the door jam.
