I absolutely agree with the "drug" plan, that semed to work well for most of us. I call it "the fear of God", but it has nothing to do with your religion. Problem with this F'd up society now, is the parents get drug to jail for following the plan. I know there are good kid...

Some peoples kids!

Kids these days have no respect. Needless to say, I AM PISSED OFF! Try to make a long story short, helped out a local kid that needed his RM80 rebuilt. New crank assy all the way up. So he brings me the engine minus the cylinder which was getting resleeved or whatever he said, I never did see it. So...

I've seen the V8 saws, they're bad ass, two man operation! Way better, IMO. I was just thumper bashing a bit there. :P

I just watched the vid and one of the suggestions for other videos to watch was a CRF 450 chainsaw! They're even pretty useless for saws, heavy isn't the word for it, and I don't think it had any cooling system at all. At least someone got a frame out of the deal!

This is turning into a hate thread, so on that thought, don't hate the game, hate the player! There are responsible quad riders, problem is they get a bad rep from the assholes that do stupid shit and deserve to do multiple flips over logs. Except whats more likely to happen? The innocent ones will ...

Yes, Mikuni round slide. Under further inspection, I think my carb boot is leaking. Wasn't at first, but was cracked and may have given out after a couple of runs. Just my luck, those bastards aren't cheap!

YZ 465 Jetting troubles

Still working the bugs out of my 81 YZ 465. I know those old big bores were famous for their run-on type surging on deceleration, but want to correct this. The overall jetting condition seems somewhat rich, but low rpm range seeming lean. When I rev it in neutral, it takes several seconds of the old...

So how much are you charging for your kitchen table pipes? I've had trouble in the past, trying to exhaust gases at the table, maybe your pipe will help "de-tune" others around me? :lmao:

Tharell, the pipe on my CR is "my Fatty" and you can't have it. If you're referring to my unit, you cannot have that either, not a homo site here  , and btw, I call it "the monster".

I think I figured it out, but it's not looking good at this point. May have to pull the engine and split the cases again. I ran the engine with the clutch arm out, looking in the hole with a flashlight. I could see the pushrod spinning inside the trans main shaft, is this normal? Also, when I rev th...

Having some troubles still..... :x I can't understand why the clutch arm keeps pushing up and out of the case when the engne is running. If I hold the clutch lever in (keeping tension on it) it doesn't happen, as soon as I let go it pops out. I've already taken the clutch cover off twice, trying it ...

Front disc brake setup was there when I got it, forks are off an 85-86 YZ 250. I have it for sale locally, might post it on the vintage site once I am sure it is PERFECT. Really have no intentions of selling it, I'm just "fishing" right now, and it pacifies the wife that way too!

I'm actually quite surprised that none of you "hawkeye's" have pointed out that the rear brake arm is upside down. Well it's too late now, because I just got my hands on the proper curved arm to replace the straight one that Niguyver put on there. Now that I said that I'll probably ...
