Hey J... IMHO... It looks like a $600-800 tops bike... Sometimes you can get very lucky and get them for less. Lots to consider tho... parts are getting "EXTREMELY" scarce and very expensive since Honda does not produce parts for the 84's at all and aftermarket is limited and ebay gets pretty crazy ...

Brian, do you have an airport anywhere close to where you live? I take my 5 gal. jug over to mine from time to time and fill it with av-gas. Its like 6 bux a gallon, but it is 110 octane and "NO" metanol/ethanol whatever added. Might be worth a trip!

Hey fellas... I need a crank/rod assy. for my '84 CR500. From what I have gathered the assy. from an '85 or '86 is the same as well. So if you have one pony up!

Okay, who can tell me what I need to do for my crank? I got tons of up and down and side play, basically rod bearing is shot... Now for the issue of finding a rebuild kit for the crank/rod. I think '85 and '86 are same as '84, but where can I get the parts for the rebuild, or a new/good replacment ...
