Oh Austin.... hahahaha So we leave the truck and go hit one hillclimb but it's rutted pretty bad so off on the single tracks. Now about 20 ft into the first rut he's riding the left side and falls in, no biggie until whiskey throtle+traction= eject. Kinda hard to explain but he shot out of the rut t...

Last week (some photos)

So last week I put in some seat time and it was "totally awesome" :D Friday: Stoneyford w/ Rodney Smith, Josh Strang, Vaughn Wilk (son of Dick Wilk aka Dicks Racing) Joe Godman ( the guy I battled all year for the D36 title and Rodneys neighbor), my buddy Wes ( fast A rider) and 2 other gu...

D36 season in a flash

So I left off at Marysville on the last so to catch up here we go..... Oasis=MUDDY the lay out was cool but it was a new event so the lines were virgin. They had cancelled the event a couple times due to heavy rains and decided to run it. They included some of the track and had some real steep downh...

I really enjoyed Joe Jost's from what I remember in my years in LB, the most pickled eggs you've ever seen  Also the 49er tavern for pool.

I need my bike to not stall period. The only problem i have with the Core is the $$$$, if I had the dollars falling out my ass i'd buy one today. So with that said, who has a used Core they don't need anymore and I'm also open for sponserships (hint hint) I don't know if I want to learn to ride an &...

So what's the difference between the Z Start and the Core? The $$$ for the Core is a lot more. I've been racing Hare Scrambles and the biggest problem i've had is stalling the 450. I've thought of a flywheel weight or a steel basket but for the money i'd spend on that why not spend a little more and...

Well Jay, some days I think it's the Bee's Knees :P and other days I miss the 500. This race was one of those I think the 500 would've been fun. If my 450 was set up right it's hard to beat ridding for an hour and a half. I have a 13/50 on this 450 and had it in 5th twice a lap. My 5 had a 14/48 on ...

E St. HS Marysville Rd. 3

If you've never been there it's sand and a MX track so making a HS event work there is some work but they did a good job. To start with I should've put my new rear tire on but I didn't have a tube and didn't want to chance pinching the thing, my race was at 8am Sun morning. They ran the Vets with th...

Picacho HS Clear Creek, CA

So this was my 3rd race and holy shit was it fun. It was a AMA National so the coarse was harder than most I would say. The laps were 11 miles and were super tight single track with some fire roads and 2 major sections with alt routes. So......... I was in lucky row 5 which gave a holeshot award and...

Has anyone heard of these pipes for the 4 smokes. All the reviews I have found are old/older and most say the pipe rips but is real loud. Going to look at a bike and it has a full one of these that is ceramic coated or something like that. Let me know, thanks

Round 1 of the series and it was a muddy mess. Le Mans start?? Had a stick holding the bike up and started a line ahead on foot then when the gun goes off you run to your bike and fire it off and go.......Well try running up hill in the mud and then kicking a 500 in muddy boots  I got lucky a...
