I believe it's bevel up. Look at the ring locating pin on the back of the piston. The pin will rest inside the bevel... ie If the pin is in the top of the ring groove, bevel up. If it's in the bottom of the groove, bevel down.

Take off the slide.

Look at the top of the slide, you'll see a hex head.

Grab a 6mm socket and unscrew/remove it.

Push the needle out the top.

Hey dipshit, she wasnt comfortable in the loose sand, she was 6 feet from the edge with 20 feet on the other side of her, do you want to see the police report that Rabbit looked over? If she wasn't comfortable in the loose sand, then she shouldn't have been there, its that simple. Doing shit like t...

Yep. It's pretty much the same as a bike. Tme and wear create a loose clearance and piston cracking, generally. It's accelerated in my application due to the loose clearance and high RPM's. Do I need to change them that frequent? Probably not. But it's insurance against cracking and breaking. I'm li...

Honestly, I've never cracked a piston in 5 years, even with .007 clearance. And I've ran one clear up to 17 nights, with 15 on a set of rings. Of course, a 'night' is truly under 10 minutes of constant hammering. I've really only used Wiseco. My spare motor, which I keep in the trailer piped, radiat...
