Re: Flywheel ,stator and cdi testing

I have a mount for the plate on the toolpost of my lathe, hold most flywheels in the chuck and spin things up to check.
I have been changing these old short rod engines over to use the 125 cdi since the map is almost identical. it can take a bunch of shuffling depending on the year of parts you find.

That was a steahly, don’t know that they’re up for it anymore, later models were threaded on as the nut and retained with 4 set screws

Re: Hello all, I am looking for a definitive answer to the question, which Aluminum Frame is the best to put a 500 motor

02-07 cr250's were almost the perfect chassis, getting older now. Hated 250f conversions myself, too small everywhere. Liked the 09-12 crf450 ones we'd done, lots of room, lots of options for parts, but I'd not build another alloy bike after building my last 5 KTM's

Re: STIC metering block

not on pulse with this setup, went back to reeds i'm building with V-Force 2 parts. Response time is the pursuit, the pulse needed to be up in rpm to keep it charged if you expected it to respond quickly, like coming to a down tree you needed 20' to prepare to lift the tire with pulse, but with the ...

I have the TPS model carb, but the standard airstriker body uses the same emulsion tube in the stic as well. It’s a 15-49, I have a 48 pilot and a 190 main.

I have, Its actually excellent and I bought a second. The bike I'm running it on at the moment is the KTM chassis conversion that I built for the MXA shootout against the same chassis with KX5 power by Mike Weir of ''KX Guru Racing". So I'm holding off on photos, vids etc until it comes out in ...

Re: 480 ignition

I haven't run the HPI i bought for the CR5, but the depth of the rotor over the electronics isn't ideal, i should spacer the plate out off the cases to get the source coil further into it. The stock 480 ignition is a dual source coil right? it should have all the spark energy it's looking for. What ...

New hosting. Upgraded software. All my customisations did not port well, so left behind. My son did the port and the hosting to keep the site alive. MAybe we get ambitious and put the customisations back, maybe not. Its excellent to be up and running with the "written in stone" compared t...
