Re: Finally approved here we go

Sorry for the long wait. I don't come around too often anymore because the place is so dead.

Re: New member in OR

No joke on the bad mileage.

I was typically able to get 60-70 miles out of my 95 on North Idaho single track with the stock 2.4 and 13/51 gearing.

Site crashes

It seems the recent update to the site's base software is causing crashes due to a problem with the underlying data.
We're looking for the problem, but it's been a bit elusive.
Sorry for the inconvenience, though I doubt more than a couple of you have even noticed...

Re: Rhino's AF rides

Huge high five to you for persevering. :urock: Hope you can find the self control to tone it down so you can ride with your kids into your 70's. I'm 50 and still riding with my dad, in his 70's. He's slower and more conservative these days because, like you say, he doesn't heal very quickly, but he ...

Welcome!
Where in Utah?
I've been down to Moab / Green River / Rabbit Valley 4 years in a row (6 times total) and am ready to try somewhere else with some more singletrack. I've found Rabbit Valley and Green River are fun, but small.

Re: Fouling plugs on std 2012 af500

I think I'd be focusing on the needle rather than the pilot or main. 160 main seems way too lean. I don't recall ever seeing anyone go that lean on the main on their 500 regardless of which carb they had. Have you run out of adjustment on the needle? My instinct says you've gone too lean on the main...

New hosting. Upgraded software. All my customisations did not port well, so left behind. My son did the port and the hosting to keep the site alive. MAybe we get ambitious and put the customisations back, maybe not.

I don't know. Someone else will have to answer that.

Does it really matter? The engines are _mostly_ identical from 89-01.

That's _one of_ the most appealing things about them.
