I ordered a cap and coil, because 1 I'm lazy, if I'm gonna tear it down to check it, its cheap enough to throe a new one in, and 2, with 3 500's it won't hurt to have a spare. I'm located in California, San jose area.

electrical gremlin?

Ok, so i sorted my last problem with an air leak out, now another issue. The bike started intermittently cutting out, very minor at first, but eventually acting like i was pushing the kill switch. I disconnected the switch, but still acted up, even completely dying a time or two. It seemed to mostly...

strange fueling issue

So I was riding over Thanksgiving and one day my bike was running great, the next it started winding up, as if the fuel was shut off, but it wasn't. If I pulled the choke on, it would idle back down. Any thoughts where to start looking?

FYI it is a 97 motor with a pwk carb.

Why is the GPR the only choice? I have a Scotts on my 01 af. Its a Low mount. NOT a sub mount, a LOW mount, it mounts between the fender and the lower triple clamp.

Not my bike, but the same mount.

Seems about like what I found out. I put a set off a 97 on my 92. Rear bolted right up, front was a big axle, so I swapped in a set of 2000 forks and caliper.

where to find flourescent plastics

Im Hunting the flourescent plastics honda had on their bikes. Ive heard it called flo red, nucluear red, hot pink, flo orange. It was the bright ass red/pink color they had in i think the early/mid 90's. Any one know where i can find them, or even what im talking about?

Yep low mount is totally the way to go! But if you are interested in another, better hurry. I talked to a tech at scotts the other night and he was amazed I had recently purchased one from them for my 450x. Apparently they only made them for a few years, and quit producing them quite a while ago

I cant for the life of me remember where i read about it, but i swear i read about a coolant substitute that is supposed to be worlds better than water wetter or engin ice. Any one have a clue what im talking about? or did i bump my head when i broke my arm?
