Thanks Greg, was that $ including the rod or just for the work performed? Yeh have got the mounts and have sat it all together, was going to use the exhaust that i got with the doner but was a little out of shape so I'm waitin' on my new pc pipe to turn up for the final mockup.
Thanks 100hp honda, I think I will take your advise and just rebuild my OEM crank with a Pro X rod (made in Japan right?) and try to find a good machine shop to do the job.
not sure about the manufacturer of the Hotrods crank kit. I have read that the Hotrods rods are a little hit and miss with quality control and that the Prox is a more popular choice, it is a little confusing as most of the piston feed back i have read is that the Pro x piston isn't very desirable ...
Hi guy's, Looking for some feed back on whether I should replace the rod on my genuine crank shaft (providing the bearing journals are still good) or just purchase an aftermarket Hotrod's complete crank? by the time I purchase a new rod for my crank and have it installed it would almost be the same ...

Hi tipfinchy, Taffymoto from you neck of the woods has a similar system on his Black Diamond cr500 conversion, if it is the same Taffy from the Berg forum i used to go on he may have done something different, Taffys bike looked nice but that doesn't amount to speed, but in the Berg world he has a ...
Hi alcrook26, I'm in Western Australia, a couple of hours north east of Perth in the Wheatbelt.
Are you after the template or the crf450 air box adaptor plate?
Hi everyone, just gettin' started with my conversion, it's been a little slow to start with but I'm slowly getting the parts together. Thanks to Bean and Paul Stoffers for the rails and mounts
