Got the 27, 23 and the 22... All fine weapons!!! Only carry the 27 in a smart carry during short weather and as a back up on the ankle, recently got a sub compact XD .40 that I carry more as it's smaller over all... But the 23 with a CT laser grip, night sights and mag extensions is my favorite!

Rebuilt the engine, forks and swing arm/linkage. He has the fork guards, front plate and seat cover and is gonna finish it up himself. Still less then $1k invested....

Use the 01 CR250 rads, newer may work but look different when I built mine... You may still have to have the left side cross over rotated up a little, but other then that they should bolt right up.

98-99 CR250 is the right one, 97 did not fit and neither did the 00.

Is that head for a stroker engine? Looks a lot like how the head was done by E Gorr on a KX103 stroker I have work on for a local racer.

Silkolene synthetic chain lube is the ONLY crystal clear chain lube I have used that does NOT* fling off, at all, zero...

I can spotlessly clean my chain reinstall and lube it in about 5 minutes:

Pop chain (non-oring FTW) drop it in a bucket of gas, swish it around, remove and lay on the ground ...

I went with a head stay on my 450 to mimic the the front radius tube on the frame and used both bolt holes on each side. Welding a block and 6" straps just seemed to weak for me.

I am 6'4" 250lbs in gear and ride almost exclusively MX, ending its 3rd season and no vibes, no issues, no cracks and ...

500 spark is always weak... Have you done a compression test?

See him do a full dress one with stock suspension, then I will be impressed
