I did too, but that corner still hit and threw the hole thing off, said puck it a...

Got down and dirty with the airbox this morning. Went with a thin aluminum plate for the airbox. Stock 450 airbox, filter ring and filter. 1998 CR250 boot and outer metal boot ring. Cut the plate to fit with a jig saw and then cleaned the edges up with the Dremel. https://bannedcr500riders.com/image...

AF sprockets
Getting ready to buy sprokets for my 03 CRF450 conversion, mostly ride small to mid sized MX tracks and tight trails. What would be a good tooth combination to start with?

Airbox mod
Ok kids... I am stuck on my airbox! My frame is a 03 CRF450R, using the stock airbox and boot. Length was great but I was unable to get it to stretch over the carb with heat; ended up tearing the boot. Tried the 98-99 CR250 boot as stated by some, length was great, fit on the carb; but the back end ...

That is awesome no matter how many times I see it!!!! After seeing the way Dan Pastor's front wheel taco'd on a big air jump I would rate the 2nd attempt with the bent wheel as downright insane............

Here is how I did my rads, my bike was missing them so I got mine from eBay. The left is a CRF450 rad and the right is a 01 CR250 rad. Only mod needed to the rads themselves was to turn the left bottom outlet up to meet the hose. Now had I got both 01 250 rads I would not have needed to have either ...

what are you doing for the headstay? Once the bike is built it's being taken back to the fabricator who did the frame and he will make up a headstay using the 450 motor mounts on the main beam. I used thoese using this design for the head stay, nice fit, strong and solid.... https://bannedcr500ride...

Check out the brass bushings this guy used...Is this the right way to go about it? would anyone do it like this guy? i'd like to...
