A good deal?

Have a chance to purchase a KTM 250 that was dropped into a pond not running and was recovered the next day. What do you think would be potential problems other than changing all the fluids cleaning the tank and carb out?

Thanks

I have a chance to ride on a 35 mile single track loop and mine has the stock tank. Most of my riding is short trails that end up back close to the truck. On this 35 mile loop it wold be a long push back to the truck if I did not make it.

Thanks for all the good info. I have the manual but I was at work and the shop doing my repairs did not have one for my specific bike and I was trying to avoid another days delay getting my forks back.

I am located in north Louisiana. I would try it myself but we already have my son's quad torn apart in the garage so it is more of a convenience thing.

Thanks for helping.

Bad seals

I have a 2001 500 that just started pouring oil from the seals on both fork tubes. Where is a good place to send them to have them repaired? I do not know if my local Honda dealer would work on a bike this old.

Thanks
