i have a bills pipe just bought a fmf power core 2 silencer will their be any problems with putting the 2 together. i have a CR500 2000 thanks for the help

i want to shorten my stock silencer and cut 4 or 5 inches off the end, then shorten the pipe inside the silencer and re drill the hole and bolt it back together, money is short and i hate the length of the stock silencer thanks very much for your time and option.
