A friend has an extra for a crf450r. Can it be used in a 500?

I'm looking for the silver color. I did some googling looks like Yamaha used the same silver.

I'm building a new engine. I need the paint color used on the later model 500's. Cases and cylinder and cylinder head have all been soda blasted. Should I paint the cylinder and head? The soda blasting made everything look new.

Check the kick starter shaft. I got new cases and was putting it back to gather and sure enough the shaft was binding. Took it to work put it in a lathe to check it and it is bent.

I have seen those case breaks twice now. What in the hell is causing it. Did the decomp help.

I'm not sure that is reasonably priced. I also need the inner crank case it cracked also.

2.9 Gallons. I did not measure how much it held after the modifaction. But I would say it loses very little.

Put it on and filled it up today and road it for about an half an hour no leaks yet.

I bought the Acerbis Bob recommended. It should be here this week. Then I have to decide to mod it my self or send out to have it done. Your tank looks good. It would have been alot cheaper.

I have the same clamps. They were on the bike I bought for 500$ bad engine. Sold the bad engine carb and exhuast for 400$ to a guy building go carts.
