Did the kickstarter spindle break? Usually if they're bent and you go to start it that happens. Even more so if it has lots of compression.

I have to back up Jake on this, I rode 2 different bikes with this setup a few weeks ago and wont run anything else now.The initial part of the stroke is unbelieveably plush...the person that came up with this idea definitely knows what hes doing mechanically and this setup works.No problems whatsoe...

Ironman sprockets are really durable and fairly light. A little pricey but worth it.

Hi from Nor Cal

16 years old, I ride a 91 CR500 and an 04 CR250. Been riding for 11 years but only on a 500 for about 2. I race D36 harescrambles and hillclimbs. Planning on goin to Glen Helen, the Widowmaker and Big Nasty this year. Down to ride whenever I can.
