I don't think it would be an issue but you could possible have the manifold cut down to 1/2 the thickness or use the stock steel manifold, either way you should be able to make 3-5 mm more clearance. not a lot of traffic on this site anymore, hope if remains there is a ton of info and it would be a ...

just my opinion, but it seems it would be much easier and cheaper to locate an engine off of ebay or the forum then do a rebuild

it seems that the site is in a coma, get well soon Banned, it would be a shame to lose all of the information this site holds and it's always felt a little more like bull shitting around the camp fire than other sites. Not so PC.

you just need to pull the cover and reclock the kick start ratchet assembly, it's been a while since having mine apart so I'm not much help with details but these engines are really simple to work on. one of the great things of the 2 stroke!

When you put everything back together, make the kick start assembly stops by hitting the foot peg and not the inside of the case
