What clutch are you using? I have read that hands down the best clutch to use is the Barnett Carbon, why? Do you have a stock gas cap or aftermarket vent?
I've seen issues with the aftermarket vents not vent, float bowl will run low under load, then when you check its all good, it's a bitch the first time, then it's something to look for.
