Sounds to me like the only problem is that you let the smoke out. thats the secret to electrinic parts, they all have just a limited amount of smoke, as soon as you let some escape they never work the same.

Thanks everyone, I think i'll change the jetting, if that doesn't help anything I move on to octane booster. I have no idea where to get anything besides 93 octane. I will warm the bike up change the plug out and try to get a benchmark plug reading before i start messing around with the jetting ...

I know racers don't run a second ring but don't 2 rings help make the piston last longer for your average weekend rider?

It was pretty cool but I thought they shoulds have had 2 rounds giving each rider a chance on each side, seemed like the outside (left) had an advantage on that first turn, I couldn't see any further than that.

Do you have a stock gas cap or aftermarket vent?
I've seen issues with the aftermarket vents not vent, float bowl will run low under load, then when you check its all good, it's a bitch the first time, then it's something to look for.
