I bought this bike from a friend that has tons of bikes. He was gonna restore this one but if you saw his place you wouldn't know where to start. I have a couple of pictures in my gallery of some of his bikes. The best ones are locked up and I couldn't get pictures of them today Anyway, once in a wh...

Nope, didn't know that. I just know the prices I see on websites. Matter of fact, between the time I first started looking at wheels from just about everywhere, the price went down at ronayers by $25. Seems like a good place to do business and it's pretty local to me, something I didn't know until I...

Fedex just delivered my stuff from ronayers.com
One of the best online experiences ever and pretty quick too for non stocking parts. Best price I could find on a rear wheel, $375.

Balls on chin, reminds me of a southpark episode. It might be considered a disability.

HA HA HA!!!
I'd really like to see one mounted towards the back!
I'd probably get queezy seasick if it was someone who could do all the big jumps and whips. Probably be like riding in the back of the family station wagon back in the day!
Anyone know of a vid with it mounted on the back?

I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered oem from ronayers.com. They dropped the price from 403 to 370 something. I don't know why but when I went to the site it was all new. I called to verify the parts were correct and they were. Several parts I was checking dropped in price and those particular...

Thanks, Rockymtn has some good prices on just about everything.
So, stay away from the aluminum? I was thinking steel also. What about the chain?
I don't need an oring or xring right? By the way, what the hell is an xring anyway?

Thanks, like I said some are close. I briefly checked prices on 250 and 500 parts and that's what I was judging them by because that's what I have. It's nice to have an arsenal of places to compare prices. Hey, the more I save on parts, the more I can spend on beer right? Anybody else have sources? ...

I can't really tell if this warp9 was any good because the goober I got it from just rode it. The hub is trashed but the spokes and the rim look pretty good. The spokes actually look tougher than the spokes on my 500. Still, I'll probably go back with the stock wheel assembly.

Thanks guys, I checked the rear wheel assembly for my 2001 CR250 on both those sites and it was over $500. ronayers.com has still got them beat, $403 plus shipping. I'm looking to get a lot of oem parts so, a hundred here and there really adds up. If anyone has a source at a better price I'd like to...

Parts shopping?

I posted about my search for wheels and I still want input from you guys but it suddenly occurred to me that the best information about WHERE to buy online is right here. So far, I'm looking at ronayers.com right here in NC as the best price for just about anything Honda. I've checked Honda of Troy ...

Thanks man, I have been looking at ebay but everything seems to be "will fit" crap. I am building this bike right and don't want any half measures. I guess my question really should be, should I just get a talon hub and excell rim or is the stock wheel assembly good? I've heard some say th...

Wheels?

I need some advice on new wheels. I know this is a 500 forum and I have one but I also have a 250. Bought it in December and knew it needed rear wheel bearings but after taking it apart, the hub is destroyed beyond use. The numbnutz I bought it from rode the shit out of it and I need a new hub at le...

Chains and sprockets?

I need a long lasting chain and sprockets. It's been a while and I need some one to educate me or point me in the proper direction.
Last chain I had was an o ring on an 88 YZ250.
