It's safe to say he had a lot of heart.
Very sad news.

There are a lot of great photos of Magoo but, these 2 are my favorites.

I don't know. I have a ton of small stuff. I have 2 Stihl 85's and I don't really like them so I save them for occasional use stuff like edging, brush blade and hedge clipping. I have a bunch of attachments for them. I was on a hedge job at one of my convenience store accounts and both of them screw...

I just checked out the reviews for the M5B at Rockymtn. They're mixed but upon further reading they reveal the riders had problems on the hard pack which is not what the tire is recommended for. All the sandy, loamy reviews were great. I'm gonna get one for my 480 because it will be ridden pretty mu...

Yeah, I screwed around too long and all they have are the rears.
I'm gonna order a bunch more but only in sets of 2. They give a $10 discount for 2.
I like Rockymtn. The only problem I've had are my Sidi's have been on backorder since 3-3, supposed to be in stock friday.

Rear tires

I just got a couple of new tires in today. I ordered an 18 and a 19, Dunlop D756. First thing I did was weigh them on the trusty bathroom scale. Virtually identical, right around 10 lbs. I'd heard the switch was made to 19 in order to save weight, none saved here as far as I can tell. Here's the rub...

Yeah, that's the way to do it. That ramp is in the way otherwise.
This thing is just great! I really don't know how I got by with out.
Of course, I had to get a couple of comfy shop stools!

Cool, what was the verdict on the old basket? Did you find anybody to look at it?
By the way, where do you ride?
I found some brutal helmet cam video of the hare scrambles at Devils Ridge.
Absolutley brutal mud. Reminded me of Unadilla MXDN, 87 or 89 something like that.

If she's riding a different bike, how's she gonna "grab" you when you wheelie.
That's the fun stuff.

No, don't want to get banned from that site. It's important for my work. Landscapers for the most part keep to themselves but on that site we're cooperative with each other. Besides, it's just a minority but there are new ones every year. We call them "scrubs", mostly unprofessional, unlic...

Earth day and jackasses

I'm a landscaper and I use some other forums. Here's what some jackass posted in an earth day thread. "Well just got done planting some trees. I also only ate organic foods today. I'd like to think I made a difference. We even sang to the trees after we planted them, a good song is far better t...

Lost my single source for non ethanol fuel, they finally gave in.
This crap messes up my 2 cycle lawn equipment.
I don't have any idea what it's going to do to my bikes.

With all the lawn equipment I have, I have been meaning to get a parts washer for a long time. Since I've got all these bikes now, I had to get one.

I used to scotch back in the day, before plated pipes. This pipe came on my 250 and was goofed up to start. I had it fixed but there are still small dings that wouldn't come out. This particular pipe looks better painted. I had it sandblasted but the header is still pitted. Besides, it's less mainte...

I had been debating it for a while. Then, last weekend I put new rimlocks and a new tube on the back of my 500. That was all I needed to pull the trigger. I actually wanted the $499 model because it has a better front wheel lock, can put extensions on the sides and it will lift 200 lbs more but I wa...

They also had this parts washer on sale for $89.99, from $139.99

What does it take to put a charge in the shock?
Some tire shops are putting nitrogen in tires now. I was wondering if they could charge a shock?
What's the difference between using nitrogen and argon?
