I am looking at a CRF that had a sub frame and radiator replaced, how can I check the frame to be sure it was not tweaked? It is a complete running bike so any checks can't have me tearing anything down for measurements.

Well it's time to actively sell this one to make room for the next! It is on CL now, if it does not sell there by the end of spring break it is off to Ebay!

New boots suck. The suggestions above are all good. If you bought cheap boots, you will be breaking them in for a long time!

I usually just ride in them, and they are fine after about an hour or so. But, I don't buy cheap boots.

Got a new pair of boots (first legitimate riding boots EVER!). What is the best trick to break them in so I can get enough ankle movement in to shift and break?

I was at the dealer show in Indy today and was surprised that ATK actually had a 700 2stroke in SM trim on display! From what I understand (they kept hinting at crap the entire time, but would actually say nothing) they are actually close to putting that Cannondale crap behind them and ready to move ...

This looks like the economy setup I will try this summer. Let us know what you find for the tail light, you going to put a switch on the brake?

If it is a stock bore & needs a top end I have a new piston/ring set I will let you have cheap, that way you can be well under the $200 top end figure. All you would need are the gaskets @ a wrench.

The 98 CR is @ 2000ft. Wouldn't it run a little richer anyway? It does have a dentless FMF fatty and silencer on it. Maybe it was never jetted for them. Oh yea, this bike would need a clutch for sure too...a bit grabby clicking it into first. Wouldn't idle for shit coming to a stop.
