Small update: got a set of stiffer springs for the old girl. Unfortunately, both Race Tech and Eibach have discontinued the fork spring, since it was only used in '89-'90 CRs and '90-'91 RMs. I found a pair on eBay, old dealer stock, luckily. Not the rate I was looking for, but still heavier than fa...

HOLY #$%^! Massachusetts elected a Republican!

Just another example of how poor a job the current leadership of this country is doing. You managed to drive the bluest of blue states to replace the late Ted Kennedy with a pro-life, anti-gay marriage, dyed-in-the-wool Conservative. Way to go. Wait, you say that it doesn't change anything? That we'...

I think it's safe to say that the baby didn't hurt Kari's figure. If anything, I think it made her hotter.

Via @GrantImahara on Twitter, apparently from the Discovery 25th anniversary party last night.

the one ridiculous thing I've heard about the 6.0's is that, for ANY kind of real engine work, i.e. glow plugs, head gaskets, manifolds, etc., THE ENTIRE CAB HAS TO COME OFF THE TRUCK. For a guy that drives a truck for a living, that sounds completely insane. Other than that, don't know much about '...

whats the plan with the "rusty" crank?
not sure about the plate, it's aftermarket, but it IS a different color, so probably. As for the crank with the bad bearing, I dunno. It's perfect other than needing a rod kit. You want?

Got 'er runnin! Turns out the jug had already been bored .5 over, just ran a hone through it to clean the surface rust, and the clearance was just right. The only reason it had ever been torn down by the previous owner was for the lower rod bearing that I replaced. Put the jug back on, put everythin...

WTB an exhaust flange

for my '90 steelie.

Got a parts lot off Fleabay awhile back that was supposed to be from an '87, and had a flange for me. Turns out is was from an '84 (yay fins!), so the flange is a weensy bit too small.

Anyone got one kicking around?
