I have taken as much as .040 off the stock head, fattened the main 2-3 sizes, and ran them like that with a pipe, with excellent results. you will have excellent bottom and mid power.... all on pump fuel I would want to widen 4mm each side at top outer corners, and raise the exhaust port 3mm, as wel...

If the motor was cleaned and ran right after being submerged, it will be ok. ' if they pulled it out of the pond, and let it sit for months, that when he corrosion takes place. a friend knew of an old car that was submerged in a lake for 20 years, when they pulled it out the body was still in very g...

I agree Bob, those prices are retarded. Custom zx14 JE turbo pistons made to my specs are $750 for 4 including $18 each for skirt dry film, and thermal dome coatings. 2 stage process. No rings included CP custom zx14 turbo pistons, $820 for 4. no rings included MTC custom zx14 turbo pistons, $560 fo...

The frame I bought has the same damage, and same problem. Poor head stay design. Gregs is good, but Bobs is best for torsional and lateral vibration and flex control. The 450 motor has the head stays on the down tube and on the perimiter tubes. Get one built like Bobs, and your problems will dissape...

got pics of your headstay design? if the headstay is not built right, the motor can vibrate too much in the cradle and fracture the frame above the top frt motor mounts as yours has. I bought a bike with problem and I am having a new headstay design fabbed up. I would guess thats due to too much eng...

although its been a very time coming, I applaud any development, especially something as radical as this engine configuration. If only I could get my hands on a jug, pistons, plate and head asap . I got plans.... It involves ice and screws..., oh and I live on a lake thats genereally noisier in wint...

My 250r was counterbalanced, that makes sense. Strengthening the chassis wouldn't be easier? I have heard of guys gusseting everything and still fracturing motor mounts from the uncounterbalanced vibes with a CR500 motor in a atv chasis, other wise many would ahve dumped their suzuki motors for a c...

The CR500 transmission is one fo the most stout, Maybe the quadzilla motor is counterbalanced and this one already had bi...
