If the timing drops off at 24 degrees / 4500 rpm on the 01 does this mean the engines losing potential power thru to say 6500?? or does an ignition curve have to drop off well before max rpm to allow it to open up and rev,,,,i just noticed how all the curvs drop off rather rapidly,i would have thoug...

is that what your suggesting some sort of nickel process to our iron bores like the modern cylinders??i didnt think this was possible with iron liners,i always thought modern nickel cylinders didnt have a liner/sleeve it was just a process the alloy went thru to surface harden/coat the cylinder..but...

yeah im with roostus the purpose of milling the jug is to drop the ex port roof to gain more compression,not raise it,most the fellas ive heard of doing that used a couple of head gaskets to compensate for the raised piston....its just logical really...im glad i havent taken to my ports with a die g...

ok they look they same but can someone explain the techinal difference..i put a power core on a new 01 with only a few hrs work and there was a loss of low end,not alot but the top end felt better so i stuck with it,plus it pumps out a bit of noise...
